This is showing total disrespect for Russia's victims.

This is also a major test for the politicians of the West. If they cannot stop this, they are totally useless and we deserve to founder.

Det här är också ett eldprov för västvärldens politiker. Kan man inte stoppa detta är de helt odugliga, och vi förtjänar att gå under.

Russian Refineries

During the year, Ukraine has carried out 194 attacks against Russian refinieries. (Jacob Ruderstam, Omni, Idag 15:55)

Good as such. It is, however, a terrible waste of human effort. All of this because the Russians have their "Superpower dreams". Very few are protesting, which is odd, and a disaster for the psychological defense of the West.

Bra i sig. Det är dock fruktansvärt vilka värden som ödeläggs. Allt detta för att ryssarna odlar stormaktsdrömmar. Mycket märkligt att få verkar ha några invändningar mot Ryssland. En katastrof för psykförsvaret i väst.

Joint Exercise

In a joint excercise, Chinese and Russian navies are going to cooperate. (Anders Hovne, Omni, Idag 05:46)

Sounds like a rehersal for World War III. Europe and Sweden need a new China policy, fast. 

Drones

A few months ago, it was revealed that the Swedish drone capacity is on a "Stone Age" level. Ever since, not a word has been heard on the matter. Before the elections this fall, the voters ought to get informed on what the Government is doing, or not doing, in this matter.

Låter som en repetition inför tredje världskriget. Europa och Sverige behöver en ny Kinapolitik, snabbt.

Drönare

För några månader sedan uppdagades i en övning att Sveriges drönarförmåga är på "stenåldersnivå". Sedan dess har inget hörts. Väljarna borde få höra vad regeringen gör, eller inte gör, i denna fråga.

A Visit from China

The Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs has arrived in Stockholm, (Ebba Örn, Omni, Idag 14:43)

I am just guessing, but I think that matters like democracy and human rights will not be discussed. The Chinese armaments to start WWIII will probably not be discussed either.

Jag gissar att man inte kommer att tala om demokrati, mänskliga rättigheter och sådana saker. Förmodligen heller inte de kinesiska förberedelserna för att starta tredje världskriget.

The EU

Greece, Cyprus and Malta are having reservations on a new package of sanctions, and there are more having objections, (Adam Lindh, Omni, Idag 21:32)

I wonder when our politicians will realize that the EU is useless, and start thinking about how we are going to make Europe work again.

Undrar när våra politiker ska förstå att EU är odugligt och börja tänka på hur skulle kunna få Europa att fungera igen.

Irish Aluminum

I am still irritated by the fact that Ireland is exporting aluminum to Russia. 

We would need a white-book on what the EU has done and not done coming to sanctions. 

The matter would most likely have been better handled if it had been in the hands of a few nations with a vested intrest in efficient sanctions that cooperated outside the EU.

European Defense

The NATO C-in-C says that Europe has plugged the holes created by the USA in the European defense.  (Adam Lindh, Omni, Idag 17:26)

High time for a bit of critical thinking.

Irländsk aluminium

Är fortfarande irriterad över det aluminium som Irland exporterar till Ryssland. 

Vi skulle behöva en vitbok över vad EU har gjort och inte gjort vad gäller sanktioner. 

Frågan hade förmodligen lösts bättre om ett antal beslutsamma europeiska nationer hade samverkat utanför EU.

Europeiskt försvar

Natobefälhavaren säger att Europa har täppt till de luckor som USA har skapat i försvaret (Adam Lindh, Omni, Idag 17:26)

Klart dags för lite kritiskt tänkande.

A Scandal

Zelenskyi is critizising European companies doing business with Russia. Russian-owned Aughinish-works on Ireland is supposed to anually sell large amounts of aluminum to Russia. The Russian owner also has a company in the city of Sundsvall in Sweden. (TT Nyhetsbyrån, ca 19.08, Idag.)

This is of course a scandal in an endless number of ways. Politicians, from von der Leyen and down, do not look good. European voters accepting today's politicians could be the worst of it all. 

In a certain desperation, onc could think that we might deserve to succumb.

Zelenskyi riktar hård kritik mot europeiska bolag som gör affärer med Ryssland. Det ryskägda Aughinish-verket på Irland lär sälja stora mängder aluminium årligen till Ryssland. Den ryska ägaren har också ett företag i Sundsvall. (TT Nyhetsbyrån, ca 19.08 Idag.)

Det här är naturligtvis skandal på hur många sätt som helst. Tunga skuggor faller över politiker, från von der Leyen och nedåt. Värst är kanske Europas väljare som accepterar våra politiska ledare. 

Vi kanske förtjänar att gå under, kan man tänka i viss desperation.
