Finally, half of the critical month is covered, and I am healty. I will go to to a pub tonight. It might be to challenge destiny. My thiniking is, however, that we are only half way on Britton's and Tegnell's dark scenarios, and might be the right time to take a chance. In a week, it might be total isolation.

The press conference at 2 o'clock reported, according to Text-TV, 1,333 dead and 12,540 confirmed cases. The State Epidemicologist Tegnell meant that "this is some sort of decrease".

I am still focused on the lack of testing. Happenden to see the home page of the Authority for People's Health that they have a task from the government, to produce a strategy for increasing the number of tests. They obviously recieved the task on 31 March 2020, then I found nothing more about it. A quote is, freely translated, "The most important thing is that patients and staff in health care can continue to be guaranteed testing in the future [...]."

I am worried about the capacity of official Sweden today to act. The only thing a really learned in my mandatory military service was how much one can get done in 24 hours, given a clear goal, leadership and reasonable resources. At least the later factor ought to be fulfilled in today's Sweden.

Äntligen, halva ödesmånaden avklarad, och jag är frisk. Kommer att gå på krogen ikväll. Det är något att utmana ödet. Tänker dock att så länge som vi bara är halvvägs i Brittons och Tegnells scenarier är det kanske just nu som man bör gå ut en sväng. Om en vecka kanske det är tvärstopp.

Jag är fortfarande fokuserad på bristen på tester. Råkade se på Folkhälsomyndighetens hemsida att man fått ett uppdrag av regeringen att ta fram en strategi för hur antalet tester ska kunna utökas. Uppdraget kom uppenbarligen den 31 mars 2020 och sedan hittade jag inget mer om detta uppdrag på hemsidan.

Oroar mig för att offentligheten nuförtiden har svårt att skrida till handling. Det enda som jag egentligen lärde mig i lumpen var hur mycket man kan få gjort på 24 timmar, som det finns ett tydligt mål, ledarskap och rimliga resurser. Åtminstone det senare kriteriet bör vara uppfyllt i dagens Sverige.
