The leader of the Authority for People's Health has today declared that the old Institute for Disease Protection would not have been able to handle the Corona (Malin Kardell, aftonbladet.se, today). Counter factual statements are always difficult.
For some reason, the present authority is against face masks, I wonder if the old one would have been that too.
One the questions that, hopefully, will be answered in the wake of the Corona is what we got for the money spent on the Authority for People's Health.

Today's statistics says 5,447 dead (+14). It feels good that the number of dead is going down.

Folkhälsomyndighetens chef går idag ut och menar att det gamla Smittskyddsinstitutet inte hade haft en chans att hantera Coronan. (Malin Kardell, aftonbladet.se, idag) Kontrafaktiska uttalanden är alltid svårt.

Folkhälsmyndigheten är av någon anledning munskyddsmotståndare, jag undrar om det gamla institutet också hade varit det.

En av de frågor som kommer att besvaras i Coronans kölvatten är förhoppningsvis vad vi fick för de pengar som lagts ned på Folkhälsomyndigheten.
