Politicians waking up in confusion 

Several politicians in ruling position have now concluded that we have problems in health and elderly care. They say that we now have to fix that. 

Somewhat surprising. One could think that the rulers should monitor the situation and make sure that society was workning. I have always believed that there was a government body to monitor health  and elderly care, "IVO".  If this is the case, there are four alternatives, of which no one is good. 

1. IVO does nothing. 

2. IVO tells the politicians what the latter want to hear, that is that everything is fine. 

3. IVO sends warnings, but the politicians ignore them. 

4. I have misunderstood the whole thing. 

One could add Sweden has among the highest taxes in the world, and still things do not work. There seems to be one or several systems errors here.

Yrvakna politiker

Flera politiker i regeringsställning har konstaterat att vi har problem, och att vi nu måste blicka framåt för att ordna upp situationen. 

Något förvånande. Man kan tro att en del av politikernas arbete är att löpande säkerställa samhällets funktion. Vad gäller vård och omsorg lever jag i tron att IVO skall övervaka denna. Om så är fallet finns det fyra alternativ, av vilka inget är bra: 

1. IVO gör ingenting. 

2. IVO säger vad politikerna vill höra, dvs att allt är bra. 

3. IVO larmar, men politikerna lyssnar inte. 

4. Jag har missförstått det här. 

Man kan tillägga att Sverige har bland världens högsta skatter, och ändå fungerar inte systemen. Det verkar alltså finnas ett eller flera systemfel.
