Planning

During the week, I have understood that Minister for Social Affairs now is thinking about planning for the case of war causing many sick and wounded. Good thinking. 

One can hope that the Corona makes the politicians think a about more plans for unpleasant occurences, like for example: 

- War

- A total and lasting cut of electical power supply

- A vulcano eruption that affects global production of food stuffs¨

- A more deadly epidemic

The last point refers to an epidemic which is worse than the Corona. From the beginning, the Corona caused great concern in Sweden, but now people are a bit too relaxed about it. In a more deadly epidemic, there would be almost panic. People would quickly flee from the cities, out to the countryside. 

Universities and the Pusillanimous Society

Text-TV reports on a large university party in Umeå [way up north]. Society reacts weakly. I think that there would be widespread support for kicking these people out of the universities. They simply are not mature (or smart) enough to go to a publically financed university.

Uppfattade under veckan att socialministern nu tänkt tanken att man behöver planera för det fall att ett stort antal människor skadas i krig. Bra tänkt. 

Man kan hoppas att coronan medför det positiva att politiken inser att det behövs planer för ett antal obehagliga saker, som till exempel: 

- Krig

- Ett totalt och långvarigt elavbrott

- Ett stort vulkanutbrott som påverkar den globala livsmedelsproduktionen

- En epidemi med stor dödlighet. 

Den sista punkten avser en epidemi som är värre än corona. Coronan skapade stor oro i början, men nu tar människor det lite väl lugnt. I en epidemi med stor dödlighet skulle närmast panik utbryta. Människor skulle snabbt fly från storstäderna och ta sig ut på landet. 

Universitet och det mesiga samhället

Text-TV rapporterar om en stor universitetsfest i Umeå. Samhällets reaktion är mesig. Jag tror att många skulle tycka att det vore rimligt om alla som är med på universitetsfester om över åtta personer sparkades ut från universiteten. De är helt enkelt för omogna (eller okloka) för att gå på ett offentligt finansierat universitet.
