42,725 newly infected, 21,939, 17,320, 8,955, 4,688, 4,049, 3,335, 2,638 and 2,070 for the latest Wednesdays, a continious increase and now dramatic. Thereby, my forcast about a more stable curve for this week fell, which migh say something about the meaningful in making forecasts about epidemics. 

If this trend is not broken, we will have 85 000 newly infected next Wednesday. 

The Anti-Vaccine People

The anti-vaccine people ought to be one of the more considerable problems in today's world. Several nations seems to struggling with the matter. Text-TV tells that non-vaccinated in Quebeck are not allowed to buy alcohol, which is an interesting approach, the Austrians are in on making vaccinations mandatory by law. The Swedish Government sticks its head in the sand. 

This is a difficult matter, but in this situation, Government could do like in a popular gameshow, "ask the audience". A homepage where anyone could file suggestions would most likely give a number of good suggestions. 

When the suggestions are sorted up, we could have an electronic referrendum and then we have the solution in place. Not only money is at stake, also human lives.

Min prognos om en utplaning under denna vecka har därmed fallit som en fura, vilket kanske säger något om det meningsfulla i att göra prognoser om epidemier. 

Om den här utvecklingen fortsätter har vi 85 000 nya smittade nästa onsdag. 

Antivaxarna

Antivaxarna torde idag vara ett av de största världsproblem. Många nationer sliter med frågan. Text-TV informerade om att Quebeck nu kräver vaccination för att få köpa alkohol, vilket är ett intressant grepp, och östrrikarna lagstiftar om obligatorium. Den svenska regeringen sticker huvudet i sanden. 

Frågan är svår, men i det här läget kan man göra som i ett populärt frågesportsprogram; "fråga publiken". En sajt där alla fick lämna sina förslag skulle sannolikt ge en mängd bra förslag. När förslagen är genomvaskade kan man ha en elektronisk folkomröstning och sedan har vi lösningen på plats. Det är inte bara pengar som står på spel, även människoliv.
