USA has the Key
Wise people now claim that the USA has the key to a Swedish NATO-membership, and that they need to give Turkey something.
I do, however, think that we also need to give something. Replacing Minister of Defense would not be a high price. He is nice enough, but we need an MD that realizes that we need Stingers, in plenty and fast, and that can fight down the resistance to this measure that is offered by some parts of the Swedish Defense Forces.

Klokt folk påstår nu att USA har nyckeln till det svenska NATO-medlemskapet, och att de behöver ge något till Turkiet.
Jag tror dock att vi också behöver ge något. Att avskeda Hultqvist vore inget högt pris. Han verkar trevlig, men vi behöver en försvarsminister som inser att vi behöver Stinger, många och snabbt, samt som kan köra över det motstånd som finns inom delar av Försvarsmakten.
