The attack is perfect. One could, however, question if this describes the entire population. It is, for example, not describing me and most likely not Paasikivi himself. The attack does, however, describe a large part of the politicans quite well.

Paasikivi is thereby fueling the myth that the entire state budget is used for something good. Nothing could be more wrong. Swedish state expenditure could most likely be cut by at least thirty percent without any normal persons noticing it.

Kängan är perfekt. Därmot kan man fråga sig hur representativt påståendet verkligen är för hela befokningen. Påståendet beskriver till exempel inte mig och sannolikt inte heller Paasikivi själv. Kängan berör dock stora delar av politikerkåren.

Paasikivi eldar därmed på myten att hela statsbudgen gör nytta. Inget kan vara mer fel. Statens utgifter kan sannolikt minskas med 30 procent utan att normalpersonen märker något.
